links from this website to the websites of any charities and other good causes who are involved in Pilton Green Man Day - like the Barnstaple Pilot Gig Club formed in January 2010 by keen gig rowers who felt that it was about time that Barnstaple and the River Taw had its own Pilot Gig Club. They now have four gigs - 'Lady Freda', 'Nipper', 'Phillipa J', and 'Barum Bobby'. They have brought 'Lady Freda' to Pilton Green Man Day in the last five years. Click on the logo for more details.
